One Pot Veg Pie



                  
                      Ingredients
                     1 cup chopped potatoes, carrots, onions, green peas, (spinach, parsley, cabbage optional)
                     2 tbspn maida
                     1/2 cup milk
                     2 tbspn butter
                      3 tbspn grated cheese
                      1 tspn basil powder
                      Puff Pastry sheet for covering

                     Method
                    1) In a pan, add butter and vegetables
                     2) add around 1/4th cup water to it and cook it for 5 min
                     3) To that add maida and milk and stir well
                     4) Finally add the cheese and basil and mix thoroughly
                     5) In  Ramekin pots, fill the vegetable filling
                     6) Cover the top with a circular cut puff pastry sheet
                     7) Bake the Ramekins for about 10 minutes at 180C

Watermelon Slush







Ingredients
500 gms Watermelon
1 cup water
1 tbspn sugar
1 tspn salt
1 tspn mint
1 tspn lemon juice

Method
1) In a blender churn the watermelon and other ingredients together
2) Also add the ice cubes to it
3) Lastly, pour the juice in a glass and add few cubes of ice to give it a chill texture

Herbed Bread loaf



Ingredients
 3 cups maida
2 1/2 tspn yeast
1 cup water
1 tbspn sugar
1 tbspn mix herbs
2 tspn salt
1/4th cup olive oil

Method
1) take one cup luke warm water and add sugar and yeast
2) Leave it for 10 minutes to get activated
3) In a bowl mix flour, oil , salt, herbs and the yeast water
4) Make dough and knead it well
5) Cover the dough with cloth and leave it at a warm place for proofing
6) The dough should double in sized after fermentation
7) Preheat the overn
8) In the bread pan , grease and dust it with flour
9) Fill it with the dogh
10) Milk wash the top of dough
11) Bake it for 25-30 minutes at 200C
Baaflo


Ingredients
1 big raw mango
1 tspn salt
3 tbspn jiggery
1 tspn cumin seed powder
1 tspn black pepper poweder
1 tspn ghee
1/2 tspn hing
2 cups water

Method
1) Boil the raw mango with peels in a pressure cooker
2) Cool it and peel it and then blend the it to make pulp
3) In a pan add ghee, cumin powder, pepper, hing, salt, jiggery and pulp
4) Boil it for 5 minutes
5) Serve it hot with Khichadi or any form of rice
6) You can chill it and drink it raw like aam panna
